Singapore and New Zealand have signed the world’s first legally binding bilateral agreement to safeguard the flow of essential goods during times of crisis.
The agreement was signed in Singapore by Dr Tan See Leng, Singapore’s Minister-in-charge of Energy, Science and Technology, and Todd McClay, New Zealand’s Minister for Trade and Investment, in the presence of both Prime Ministers.
