The Young Social Entrepreneurs programme (YSE), an initiative of Singapore International Foundation, seeks to inspire, equip and enable young changemakers from around the world to embark on social enterprises in Singapore and beyond.
After an eight-month programme which began in March, the YSE 2015 journey will culminate in the Pitching for Change. 15 teams comprising 31 young changemakers representing six nationalities will re-group in Singapore to pitch for funding. The top five teams will be awarded up to $20,000 each to launch or scale up their social enterprises.
In conjunction with the Pitching for Change, SIF is holding a dialogue session on “Nurturing Young Leaders for A Better World”. This session explores the various initiatives and collaborations in the region to support the next generation of changemakers – What does it take to groom the leaders of tomorrow? What are some of the successful youth-led initiatives we can learn from? Take part in the exciting dialogue, learn more about the participants’ work at the event showcase and celebrate with us at the awards ceremony!
