Synopsis

Sustainability imperative has arrived and is gathering pace for the corporations, especially the financial services industry. Stakeholders expect banks to use their influence to drive the decarbonisation of businesses and societies, through reducing not only their own emissions but also the emissions of their customers.
There is a shift towards looking beyond “classic” financial and economic indicators to a broader set of ESG metrics for measuring success.

In this webinar, our panellists will discuss:

– There are many frameworks such as Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), SASB, CSDB, CDP, UN’s Sustainable development goals, PRI etc. How to choose the right framework and report the metrics that matter whilst avoiding greenwashing
– Challenges faced in sourcing good quality ESG data and converting it to insights to drive business decisions.
– Role of ESG performance in identifying areas of value creation and glaring red flags from an investment perspective
