Synopsis
Blockchain has attracted a lot of interest in recent years. The popular press usually focuses on this technology in the context of cryptocurrencies in general and Bitcoin in particular. The true potential of blockchain / DLT (Distributed Ledger Technology) goes much beyond cryptos and Bitcoin. The technology is widely adopted in enterprise solutions across industries creating tangible value across multiple use-cases (e.g. traceability in the supply chain, digital ID for authentication, micropayments etc.).
EuroCham’s Digital Economy Committee’s webinar “Blockchain beyond Bitcoin” shall take a closer look at Singapore’s blockchain landscape and at applications of this technology across diverse industries.
The aim of this session is to gain insights from the direct experiences of a wide range of blockchain leaders. We will look at examples of how this technology is creating value across various industries in Singapore and transforming business models.
