The British Theatre Playhouse will be presenting its fifteenth production in Singapore – Sir Noel Coward’s celebrated play, “The Vortex”.
The play will open its Asian premiere in Singapore at Raffles Hotel, Jubilee Hall Theatre on 27 April 2016 and will run until 15 May 2016.
The production, set in London high society of the 1920’s, will have a star-studded line- up with Hollywood British actress Jane Seymour OBE to play the leading role of “Florence Lancaster”.
The Jubilee Hall Theatre at Raffles Hotel is the perfect venue for this elegant and sophisticated expose of 1920’s London society. Sir Noel Coward’s close ties with Singapore and Raffles Hotel make it, even more, the perfect match. Add to that one of Hollywood’s most famous actresses in the leading role of a Coward play and you have an evening to remember for a long time!

The BTP will also be organising an “Art-for-Charity” gala performance and dinner on Friday 29 April 2016 at Raffles Hotel to benefit the International Red Cross. The gala will be hosted by H.E. Scott Wightman, British High Commissioner, and will welcome Jane Seymour, the starring actress of the production as guest of honor, as well as H.E. Dr. Michael Pulch, the E.U. Ambassador to Singapore.
