About the Sustaining Intergenerational Business Success (SIBS) Dialogue Series
SIBS by Singapore Business Federation, Young Business Leaders Network and European Chamber of Commerce Singapore invites multigenerational families in Singapore, Southeast Asia and Europe to jointly embark on a journey of growth, learning, and shared success, ensuring that the legacy of family businesses continues to thrive for generations to come.
Through a series of engaging sessions, participants will have the opportunity to hear from successful family business leaders, industry experts and advisors who specialise in succession planning as they navigate the intricacies of succession, ensuring the continued success and sustainability of their businesses. Beyond succession, we will also delve into topics such as leadership transition and roles of external managers, parallel governance and philanthropy to help participants manage family and business needs with an eye towards tomorrow.
By connecting families across borders, the series promotes a global perspective on navigating the generational shift in family businesses, highlighting best practices and innovative approaches from different cultural contexts. Through building a community of cross-cultural, like-minded individuals who share their journeys and insights, we not only enrich participants’ understanding but also foster a sense of solidarity and collaboration among family businesses worldwide.
About the Young Business Leaders Network
YBLN is a network of diverse young business professionals united by a desire to create positive impact through business. With more than 230 members today, our members come from three distinct categories, being second/third generation family business owners, successful startup entrepreneurs and senior executives of large corporations in Singapore. YBLN is also Singapore’s official representative to the ASEAN Young Entrepreneurs Council and Association, connecting our home-grown leaders with the rest of the world.

Jean-Jacques Guiony was born in France on December 31, 1961.After graduating from HEC business school in 1984, he began his career in 1985 as a Research Analyst with Banque Nationale de Paris in Paris and then in 1988 with Merrill Lynch in London. In 1990 he joined the Mergers & Acquisitions department of Lazard Frères, becoming a partner in 1997 and then Head of Mergers & Acquisitions in 2000.He joined LVMH in 2003 as Deputy Finance Director before becoming Chief Financial Officer in 2004. He has also been named Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of La Samaritaine since 2010 and President of Paris Match since 2024.Since February 1, 2025, Jean-Jacques Guiony has been President and Chief Executive Officer of Moët Hennessy, the Wines and Spirits division of LVMH.Jean-Jacques Guiony is a member of the LVMH Executive Committee.He has been awarded the honorary title of Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur.
