Synopsis

EuroCham Singapore, in collaboration with HERE Technologies, is organising an event on “Movement of Goods – Supply Chain Efficiency.”

The event will draw insights from industry leaders on optimising fleet management with innovative digital technology with the goal of reducing costs, saving time and improving sustainability. We will also explore ways to reimagine the supply chain with end-to-end visibility and increasing efficiency of movement of goods through improved methods of tracking and mitigating disruptions on the road.

This event promises to be a fantastic opportunity to network with industry experts, share ideas, and learn about the latest trends and innovations in supply chain efficiency and management.

Mr Abhijit Sengupta
Senior Director and Head of Business, Southeast Asia & India
HERE Technologies

Abhijit Sengupta is Senior Director and Head of Business, Southeast Asia & India at HERE Technologies. Based out of Singapore, Abhijit brings over two decades of experience in Sales and Business Development, Product Management and Product Operations. He has been driving customer success in the B2B and B2C segments with market-leading organizations in India and Southeast Asia.

Abhijit has extensive experience in working in the start-up phase in the Indian Telecom and communications sector and has led some “first to the industry” and “first to the market” product launches. In the last 12 years with HERE Technologies, Abhijit has led Product Management and Product Operations to launch the map and location content in high-growth Southeast Asia and India markets. Having worked with many key customers in the region, Abhijit has led thought leadership in defining Product and Content Strategy for the India and Southeast Asia markets.

While Abhijit is mandated to drive growth for HERE Technologies in India and Southeast Asia, he is also working with various stakeholders in the ecosystem to drive value and outcomes.

A regular speaker in many industry forums, Abhijit believes that the world around us has to handle more and more data in the connected environment, location technology is the key and will help us to usher in the Autonomous world.

Mr Kushal Rajveer
Head of Supply Chain, Asia Pacific, Oceania & Japan
HERE Technologies

Kushal is a goal-driven, solutions-focused leader and builder with over 18 years of experience across the Supply chain, Ecommerce and Technology ecosystem. He is recognised for accelerating revenue and profit growth through innovative design-thinking, automation, problem-solving, process reengineering and IT solutions.

With extensive experience in designing, implementing and operating complex operations – including running 1000+ projects across five countries, currently, Kushal is heading the Supply Chain practice for HERE Technologies, where he is responsible for thought leadership, co-creation, and supporting Key clients & partner and also products and solution development using the immense power of locations technologies.
 
Kushal lives in Singapore.

 

Mr Matthias De Saedeleer
Assistant Vice President Group Commercial
PSA

Matthias De Saedeleer serves as Assistant Vice President Group Commercial of PSA International (PSA), a leading global port group and trusted partner to cargo stakeholders around the world.

He has more than a decade of experience at PSA International and currently manages Commercial relationships with key shipping line customers as well as a range of strategic efforts in Sustainability and Digitalisation to advance business and operational goals, as well as in ‘PORT+’ seeking for new growth in port adjacencies supporting cargo solutions.

Throughout his tenure with PSA, Matthias led diverse international teams and held several strategic roles across Group Corporate Affairs, the Global Covid Response Task Force, the Global Innovation Team, as well as representing PSA at the Belgium Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Singapore.

 

Mr Matthew Gallagher
Sales & Marketing Director
Kuehne+Nagel Singapore & Malaysia

Matthew is responsible for driving commercial development across Kuehne+Nagel’s service offerings of Air, Sea, Road, Contract and Integrated Logistics. With 15 years in Asia and 8 further years of Supply Chain experience in Europe, he is passionate about driving successful team & client partnerships. Topics of the day are Sustainability, Resilience & Visibility.

 

Mr Shahjar Jogi
Head – Customer Success, APAC & ANZ
FarEye

Shahjar is a seasoned business leader with extensive experience in helping customers with their digital transformation initiatives. He is based out of Singapore and has over a decade of experience spanning the Supply Chain software solution industry, focusing on Retail, eCommerce, CEP, and 3PL industry verticals. At FarEye, he is leading business customer success for the APAC region.

 

 

 

Moderator

Associate Professor Tay Huay Ling
School of Business/ Logistics and Supply Chain Management
Singapore University of Social Sciences

Associate Professor Tay Huay Ling holds a PhD in Business and Economics (Operations Management) from the University of Melbourne, Australia. She also has an MSc in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, an MSc in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from the National University of Singapore, and a BEng (Hon) in Chemical Engineering from the National University of Singapore. She teaches operations, supply chain management courses, and lean six sigma. Her research focuses on lean six sigma, sustainable business values, healthcare, and humanitarian logistics. Before entering academia, she gained experience in supply network analysis, chemical logistics, healthcare operations, and process improvements. As a pro-bono consultant for non-profit organisations, she assists in operations and supply chain performance tracking and improvements through process streamlining and workflow redesigns. She has published journal articles on operations management and process improvements in logistics, healthcare, community care, and higher education. Her work utilises lean six sigma and performance management in humanitarian logistics and supply chains.

Step 2: Before the event, an email will be sent at least 2 days before to the attendees to confirm their attendance and inform them about the event details. Please check your spam folder if you do not receive this email.

Step 3: Please reply to the second confirmation email with your confirmation of attendance so we know that you have received the relevant information and are still attending.

Step 4: Please arrive on time for registration for the event. We will only admit attendees who have been confirmed to the event.
