The European Chamber of Commerce, Singapore (EuroCham) and the Swedish Chamber of Commerce, Singapore (SwedCham) are co-organizing the launch edition of the Schuman Business Talk series on 3rd of July 2018 where we will welcome the prominent Swedish Industrialist and Banker Mr Marcus Wallenberg as our Guest of honour and key-note speaker.
The Schuman Business Talk series aim to feature prominent European Business leaders who are eager to inspire and to empower the future of business leadership in Europe, Singapore and the rest of the world.

In an increasingly complex world Mr. Marcus Wallenberg will address some of the key challenges facing business leaders today. He will give his views on the business environment and the importance of free trade. He will also make the connection between the significant need for infrastructure investments, innovation and “green financing”. Given Mr Marcus Wallenberg’s role as Chairman for, the Northern European bank, SEB he will also discuss how Banks will need to continue to adapt to the fast changing environment.

Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken (SEB), Chairman
Marcus Wallenberg is since 2005 the Chairman of Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken (SEB), a North European financial group for 400,000 corporate customers, and 5 million private customers. SEB has local presence in the Nordic and Baltic countries and in Germany.
Marcus Wallenberg is also the Chairman of Saab AB and FAM AB, and serves on the boards of Investor AB, AstraZeneca Plc, the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation and Temasek Holdings Ltd. He is the former Chairman of LKAB and Electrolux AB.
Marcus Wallenberg held the position as Chairman and Honorary Chairman of ICC (International Chamber of Commerce) from 2006 to July 2010. From 1999 to 2005, Mr Wallenberg was President and CEO of Investor AB, after having served as Executive Vice-President of the company for six years. Prior to this he was Director of Stora Feldmühle in Düsseldorf for three years.
Marcus Wallenberg earned a B. Sc of Foreign Service from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. and began his career at Citibank in New York 1980, followed by various positions at Deutsche Bank in Germany, S G Warburg Co Ltd in London and Citicorp in Hong Kong.
Partner at Generator Antler
Lisa Enckell is a partner at the startup generator Antler where she leads Antler’s marketing and communications as well as supporting the portfolio companies. Lisa is also an active angel investor and has over the past five years invested in early-stage startups in Europe, US and Asia. Before joining Antler, Lisa was an independent marketing and product consultant for startups. Clients include Candy Crush Saga maker King.com, the world’s leading period tracking app Clue, and a number of early-stage European and American startups. Prior to that, she was the VP of marketing at Wrapp, a social gifting startup based in San Francisco and Stockholm.
Over the past years, Lisa has been working with fast-growing startups in different parts of the world. Always taking on a data-driven approach to her work, Lisa’s strength is in growth and product marketing. As an independent consultant, she took on interim CMO positions for startups in growth phases, most recently she was the interim CMO for VAssist in Mumbai, India, where she led the re-design of the product, made sure the marketing and product teams worked in a data-driven way and turned around a negative unit economics to a positive one.
She’s on a constant hunt to optimize, whether it’s an onboarding flow, an email drip campaign or a product launch. With a background in PR, her heartbeat tends to increase in discussions regarding positioning and branding.
Lisa started her career in Stockholm, Sweden, working as a PR consultant and public speaker before entering the startup world in 2011. She spent 2.5 years working in San Francisco and has since 2015 been based in Southeast Asia where she’s lived in Jakarta and is now based in Singapore. She holds an MSc in Business and Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics.
