
The aforesaid 2-day event aims to promote the use of the ASEAN Trade Repository (ATR) and the ASEAN Solutions for Investments, Services and Trade (ASSIST) by Singapore companies operating in the ASEAN region. It will start with (i) a half-day ATR and ASSIST outreach event for the general private sector on the first day to provide participants with basic information on the ATR and ASSIST, and on how they will benefit companies to facilitate their cross-border trade transactions within the ASEAN region. This will be followed by (ii) a full-day ASSIST train-the-trainer workshop for selected participants to train them on how to use ASSIST to raise any cross-border trade issues they are facing within the region.
The ATR and ASSIST Outreach event is open to all interested participants from the private sector, while the ASSIST Train-the-Trainers Workshop participants will be selected based on their willingness to help Singapore-based companies raise complaints using the ASSIST platform. These sessions will be facilitated and conducted by ARISE Plus experts, and participation is completely free-of-charge.
