On the 19th November, the packaging committee will convene and welcome the organisers of the Plasticity Global Forum to share some insights and debrief members on the topics addressed at the forum that will be held in Bangkok, Thailand.
This is especially useful for member companies who missed the participation at the forum: https://www.plasticity.global/
We will host:
Managing Director and Founder
Trish Hyde is the Managing Director and Founder of The Plastics Circle and the Director of Plasticity Global. The Plastics Circle is a business start-up to drive innovation and commercial opportunities that put the circle into circular economies in Asia. Her work spans non-profit industry collaboration and education initiatives; scrap plastic end-market development; technology applied within market contexts and regulatory and stakeholder engagement. Previously, as CEO of the Australian Packaging Covenant, Trish successfully negotiating the Enhanced Covenant, and setting the multi-ministerial and broad-membership endorsed 2022 APC Vision and Strategic Plan. She is a senior executive with 15+ years’ leadership and commercial experience. She holds a double Masters from Deakin University, Australia.
Chief Creative Officer
Gillian Hyde is Chief Creative Officer at The Plastics Circle, and Plasticity’s resident MC. In 2000, Gillian executed a 180° vocational turn – moving from an established career as a professional actor to the business world, where she held senior management positions (in marketing and operations) in the wine industry. Although no longer involved full-time, she continues her association with the wine industry as a free-lance writer and wine educator. A professional communicator for many years, Gillian recognises that clarity of message is central to the art of persuasion; and that there is a lot of persuading to do, if we are to deliver a successful plastics circular economy. In 2018, Gillian was appointed General Manager (communications and content) at The Plastics Circle; in 2019 she accepted a directorship. Plasticity Bangkok was Gillian’s fourth Plasticity forum – having previously held the reins at Plasticity Kuala Lumpur; Fiji and Amsterdam.
