The NEA Corporate and NGO Environment Champion Programme aims to cultivate and groom Environment Champions (ECs) in the corporate and non-government sector, to drive environmental initiatives within and beyond organisations. To achieve this, it seeks to build the capacity of the corporate and NGOs through resource materials such as the Environmental Resource Toolkit and conduct of workshops to enhance the knowledge and skills of the champions.

A series of complimentary training workshops will be held as part of the NEA Environment Champion Workshop Series 2015.



Module: Project Management (6-7 July 2015)


This 1.5-day workshop focuses on practical training in project management that helps new Corp ECs to conceptualise, manage and publicise environmental programmes for their organisations. Participants also gain further insights through the educational site visit.

  • Learn to plan, track and implement a project successfully
  • Create buy-in from various stakeholders for support
  • Understand the potential risks and possible solutions
  • Develop a project plan that you can roll out immediately

  • Master the tools and techniques to complete a project effectively, on time and within budget
  • Visit the waste-to-energy (WTE) Incineration Plant to understand how energy is generated from waste
