Ms Margaret Rumpf
VP, Global Marketing Head
GSK

Margaret works for GSK, an FTSE100 listed global healthcare company. 
Based in Singapore, she leads an organisation that drives global commercial strategies for some of GSK’s leading medicines in primary healthcare. Her portfolio represents over £7bn in sales across 110 markets worldwide. Despite competing in heavily genericized markets, her established portfolio continues to grow in patient reach and sales through digital innovation, particularly across Emerging Markets. 

Prior to this role, Margaret was in Belgium, leading the design and execution of Vaccines Strategy, as the Chief of Staff to the President of Global Vaccines. She has also led Commercial Operations in Korea, Hong Kong and Macau.

Margaret is a qualified Pharmacist with a master’s in Public Health, specialising in Health Economics and Policy. She is a specialist in Market Access with over 10 years of experience enabling patient access to medicines and vaccines across the Asia Pacific. 

 


 

Ms Siow Ai Li
Managing Director

Ai Li started her career as a research assistant in an analytical X-Ray laboratory in Taipei in 1997, after which she moved from the academic environment to the private sector as a Business Development Manager in a Diagnostics Laboratory in Singapore.

Ai Li joined Siemens Healthineers in 2002, where she worked in several positions – from business development, product management and sales & marketing in various locations in Asia. Ai Li’s current position is the Managing Director of Siemens Healthineers in Singapore.

Ai Li holds a Degree in Bachelor of Science, in Geosciences from National Taiwan University. She speaks English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Fujian.

 


 

Dr Sidharth Kachroo 
Medical Director & Head – Medical Portfolio Management 
Prudential Assurance Company Singapore

Dr Sidharth Kachroo Medical Director & Head – Medical Portfolio Management Prudential Assurance Company Singapore. Dr Sidharth leads Prudential Singapore’s medical portfolio and is responsible for providing solutions to achieve profitable and sustainable metrics for Prudential’s Health Insurance business. His role includes the development and implementation of management initiatives related to medical business as well as supporting cross-functional teams in developing long-term healthcare models, both on a digital and conventional platform. Dr Sidharth has extensive Health Insurance & Reinsurance experience and was responsible for providing expertise and delivering solutions related to health product development, health underwriting & claims as well as health-tech solutions to Insurers in South & South East Asia. He has significant operational expertise in managing health KPO’s and TPA’s. Dr Sidharth is a regular speaker at Insurance forums and counts over eighteen years of experience in the health insurance industry. He holds a Doctor of Medicine degree and was actively involved in clinical practice prior to joining the Insurance industry.

Ms Kavita Rekhraj

Deloitte Southeast Asia

Kavita leads Deloitte’s Life Sciences & Health Care Industry practice in Southeast Asia. She focuses on clients in the pharmaceutical, medtech, healthtech and healthcare provider space, bringing with her a consumer-centric view and the capabilities to address the most pressing issues faced by life sciences and health care providers in SEA.

Kavita has more than 20 years of consulting experience, with core expertise in customer engagement, market entry and access, route to market, channel management, and overall business and digital transformation. She has also led engagements across the mergers & acquisition (M&A) life cycle from M&A strategy, and due diligence to post-merger integration (PMI).

Kavita has authored publications focused on consumer insights in several markets in Southeast Asia and has worked extensively across Southeast Asia and the Asia Pacific.

Mr Eugene Toh
Director (Agritech)

Eugene TOH is the Director of the Agritech Division, and the Global Markets Director for Northeast Asia & Oceania, in Enterprise Singapore. The Agritech Division works with agritech companies in Singapore to build capabilities, innovate and internationalise, as well as develop a vibrant agritech start-up eco-system in Singapore. The Global Markets division supports the growth of Singapore as a hub for global markets and start-ups in the aforementioned markets. Eugene also holds a concurrent appointment in the Energy Market Authority as the Chief Commercial Officer, overseeing the Request-for-Proposal to import large-scale clean energy to Singapore.

He previously headed the Pro-Enterprise Division in the Ministry of Trade & Industry from 2017-2020, focusing on implementing strategies and programmes to ensure that Singapore’s business environment and regulatory framework support innovation and enterprises. Prior to that, he was the Director (Policy and Planning) at the Energy Market Authority and was responsible for the development of energy policies and plans to meet the overarching objective of ensuring a cost-competitive, environmentally sustainable and secure energy supply. 

Eugene graduated with a Masters’s Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) from Carnegie Mellon University and a double first-class Bachelor’s degree in ECE and Economics, with a major in Philosophy from the same institution in 2006. He completed the INSEAD MBA programme in 2014 and was awarded the Ford Prize, which is presented to the top student of the cohort.  As well as being an avid runner, Eugene is passionate about the arts and enjoys portrait drawing in his free time. Recently, he took up singing and ukulele-playing, with the hope of sparking joy in the lives of people.

 


 

Mr Khong Mun Pew

APAC Head of Public Affairs and Sustainability for Crop Science
Bayer (South East Asia)

Mun Pew is currently Advisor, Public Affairs, Science and Sustainability, Asia Pacific in Bayer Crop Science. He joined Bayer (Southeast Asia), since 2014. Prior to joining Bayer, he spent 10 years with British American Tobacco as Head of Corporate and Regulatory Affairs based in various locations including Singapore, Hong Kong, London, Vietnam, and Indonesia. Before joining the corporate sector, Mun Pew was with the Singapore Civil Service for 15 years serving in The Ministry of Trade and Industry and the Trade Development Board with his last position as Director of Trade Policy, ASEAN.
He was also the Commercial Counsellor at the Singapore Embassy in Indonesia from 1996 to 2000. Mun Pew graduated with a master’s degree in Economics from the University of Cambridge, UK.

Mohit Purbey is Senior Director Distribution at Bunge and a key member of the leadership team responsible for driving the business growth strategy for Bunge’s proteins and grains business in Asia. Mohit has over 25 years of experience in managing food and agricultural commodity businesses in various leadership roles in India, USA and APAC region. With diverse cultural, managerial and geographic experiences and a strong agri-food domain expertise, Mohit excels in managing the complexities and challenges of building agri-food businesses at scale from grounds-up. Mohit is deeply passionate about building Innovation ecosystems and sustainable agri-food systems through multi-stakeholder engagement and collaboration.

Dr Ralph Graichen
Senior Director, Food & Consumer
Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR)
 

Dr Ralph Graichen is currently Senior Director, Food & Consumer at the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), Singapore. In this function, Ralph is leading his team to develop A*STAR’s strategy in food & nutrition, consumer care as well as human potential. He is responsible for driving activities across the public and private sector in Singapore, supporting economic activities, research funding and strategic national and international relations.  He has a co-appointment as Adjunct Associate Professor with Nanyang Technological University, School of Chemical & Biomedical Engineering. In his current position with A*STAR, Ralph is working with strategic partners to administer and develop new initiatives and programmes in the research areas of food, nutrition and consumer care.  Ralph is a member of the Singapore Food Standard Committee, the Food Innovation & Resource Centre Advisory Panel and the Scientific Advisory Board for the Disruptive and Sustainable Technology for Agricultural Precision.
 
Ralph has over 18 years of experience in the local and global biomedical and nutrition industry. He was previously Research Operations Manager for Abbott Nutrition in Asia, establishing the R&D infrastructure and managing the research portfolio for Asia.
 
Ralph graduated with a master’s in Biology from the Johannes Gutenberg University, Mainz, Germany and attained his PhD from the National University Singapore through the Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology. Ralph attended the Food System Leadership Institute, a program of the Association of Public and Land-Grant Universities (APLU) with support from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation.
