EuroCham is pleased to invite you to a presentation and round table discussion with Mr Gerard Forlin, Queen’s Counsel, who will talk about International Regulatory Trends, the UK Bribery Act and recent anti-corruption regulations of the European Commission. Members will find out how European regulations and the Legislation of other Countries around bribery and corruption are shifting towards stricter English laws. Come and find out how these recent trends impact European companies all around the world.

About the Speaker:

Gerard Forlin was educated at Trinity Hall, University of Cambridge, and the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). He was called to the Bar by Lincoln’s Inn and appointed Queen’s Counsel (QC) in 2010 in both Civil and Criminal Law. He has consulted, lectured and practiced in over 35 countries and has been involved in over 300 fatality cases.


Mr Forlin’s areas of expertise in which he acts globally, include the following:

Regulatory, specialising in health and safety and corporate and gross negligence manslaughter, disaster litigation, aviation railways, shipping safety, diving, oil and gas, environmental crime, construction, professional discipline, public inquiries, fraud, regulatory offences, product liability, healthcare, commercial fishing (EU), consumer crime, licensing, corruption and bribery, waste offences, human rights and inquests.


He has recently been appointed to an International Mediation and Arbitration panel of 14 worldwide Members for the Royal Aeronautical Society. There are only two QC’s on this global panel.
