Post-meeting note
The European Chamber of Commerce (Singapore) and relevant members of the beverage-producing industry had a dialogue with the National Environment Agency (NEA) represented by Mr Christopher Tan, Director of the Sustainability Division, and his team on 8 March 2022. The main topic of discussion was the Beverage Container Return Scheme.
The meeting ended on a positive note that NEA and EuroCham will continue to collaborate further in the future.
[Updated: 23 March 2022] EuroCham subsequently submitted a consolidated response to NEA on the Beverage Container Return Scheme 2022 on March 22 to reflect the views and position of EuroCham and its relevant members.
