The British Theatre Playhouse is bringing from London’s West End THE DEFINITIVE RAT PACK to Singapore. The show will take us back to the music and superstardom of Frank Sinatra (New York New York, My Way), Dean Martin (Sway, That’s Amore) and Sammy David Jr. (Mr Bojangles, The Candy Man).
BTP is about the arts and culture, and through their established “Art for Charity” gala dinners in Singapore, the theatre company also gives back to those who need it the most by raising money for charity. This time, they are collaborating with The Business Times to support their charity The Business Times Budding Artists Fund.
The Business Times Budding Artists Fund reaches out to financially disadvantaged children and youths from 6 to 19 years old. Through nurturing the artistic talents of these children and adolescents, the charity also seeks to build their values, character, and self-esteem. Since 2005, BTBAF has reached out to more than 16,000 needy children and youths through a variety of programmes including a structured arts training programme, arts camps, workshops and signature events.
To sum up why this is a “must-attend” charity gala event:
- – World-class show from London’s West End with the original cast that earned an Olivier Award nomination
- – Attended by the great and good in Singapore, including the President of Singapore and the British High Commissioner, H.E. Scott Wightman
- – Art can transform society. Your support will help disadvantaged children and uplift the community
