Anand Stanley
President and Head of Region
Airbus Asia-Pacific

Based in Singapore, Anand leads Airbus and its helicopter, defence and space divisions across the region. He is responsible for all commercial aircraft sales, customer support, government affairs, industrial collaboration and innovation.

Over his career Anand has worked extensively internationally, with more than two decades of leadership in aerospace and involvement in Asia and the Pacific region. He joined Airbus in 2018 and has previously worked with the Linde Group, UTC, Pratt & Whitney, Lockheed Martin and Sikorsky.

Anand is currently the Chairman of the Board of Airbus Japan, Vice President and Board member of Eurocham Singapore, member of His Majesty’s Trade Advisory Council (UK), Chairman of GIFAS Asia (French Aerospace Trade Council) and a member of YPO (Young Presidents’ Organization).

Anand graduated from Andhra University in India and has postgraduate qualifications from IMI- Delhi and the University of Virginia-Darden.

 

Markus Schuster
Managing Director
Audi Singapore

Markus Schuster is the Managing Director of Audi Singapore since August 2019.
Prior to this appointment, Schuster has been working for the brand in Germany and Italy in several functions including sales, marketing and business development. Among other projects during his time with Audi in Europe, he has been part of major new product introductions including the Audi RS 6 and the first-ever Audi R8, models that took the brand to new competitive environments.

The first public event Schuster hosted in Singapore was the debut of the Audi e-tron, the brand’s first fully electric premium SUV. He has since used the Audi e-tron daily, gaining first-hand experience of living with an EV. Today, the brand offers a growing portfolio of fully electric models, which includes the Audi e-tron, e-tron Sportback and the flagship grand touring sports car, the e-tron GT and the RS e-tron GT.

 

Joris Dierckx
Regional Head for Southeast Asia
BNP Paribas

Joris Dierckx is the Head of Corporate and Institutional Banking for Southeast Asia and CEO of the Singapore Branch at BNP Paribas.

Joris started his banking career in 1995 as a graduate trainee at Generale Bank in Belgium. At Generale Bank and subsequently, at Fortis, he held various roles in export and project finance in Brussels, Dublin, Mumbai and Singapore. In 2008, Joris was appointed country head for Japan at Fortis, while also serving as interim Head of Merchant Banking Asia during the integration with BNP Paribas. Since joining BNP Paribas in 2010, Joris was successively country head for Greece, South Korea and India.

Joris holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Sustainable Development from the University of London, a Post-Graduate degree in Finance from the University of Leuven, a Master of Laws degree from the University of London and a Master’s degree from the University of Antwerp.

 

Anju Abrol
CEO and Head of Wholesale Banking, Asia Pacific
ING

Anju is currently CEO and Head of Wholesale Banking, Asia Pacific for ING Bank.  She is a seasoned banker with 30+ years of banking experience. She is leading ING’s agenda to drive growth in 11 countries across the APAC region, where ING has a presence – including SE Asia, Japan, China, HK, Taiwan, Korea, Australia and India.

Anju has worked in senior leadership roles in global banks namely Bank of America, Deutsche Bank and Westpac.  She has worked in several cities: Singapore, Sydney, New York, Hong Kong SAR and India. Anju has deep experience in corporate and investment banking, particularly in the areas of business origination, debt capital markets, credit, risk and governance and asset restructuring.

Anju holds an MBA from the University of Delhi and a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Chemistry from St Stephen’s College, University of Delhi.

 

Lizum Mishra
Senior Director, Government & Public Affairs, Asia Pacific
The LEGO Group

Lizum Mishra heads government affairs for the Asia Pacific region for the LEGO group based out of the company’s regional headquarters in Singapore. In this capacity, she is responsible for shaping and influencing regulatory environments to enable access to LEGO© products and offerings across key markets in Asia Pacific. Lizum also drives government stakeholder engagements and industry alliances, which support the company’s priorities of promoting sustainability, creative learning and responsible digital engagement through the Asia Pacific. In her role, Lizum also provides leadership oversight to broader corporate affairs priorities in Asia Pacific. Lizum is also chairperson and a Board member of the Asia Toy and Play Association, which drives the unified priorities of the toy sector in Asia Pacific and helps grow the toy industry in the region.

Lizum brings close to 20 years of experience in the government and corporate affairs function working for Fortune 100 companies in technology, retail and aerospace. Prior to joining the LEGO group, Lizum has held leadership roles in Government Affairs for Amazon, Boeing and BSA. Lizum holds a Master’s degree in Public Affairs from Syracuse University, New York.

 

Jasmine Koh
Manager Regulatory and Public Affairs
Philip Morris International

Jasmine joined Philip Morris International in 2020 as the Manager Regulatory and Public Affairs, responsible for regulatory, government relations, illicit trade prevention and scientific affairs for the Singapore Market.

She has more than 10 years of clinical and regulatory experience in the public sector, including the Ministry of Health, with key achievements in lobbying for legislative amendments in the professional and regulatory space. She is also a registered Pharmacist with the Singapore Pharmacy Council Mentor for the National University of Singapore’s InpiRxe Mentorship Programme for Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Science Faculty.

Jasmine graduated from University College London with a Master’s of Science in Clinical Pharmacy, International Practice and Policy, and National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Science (Pharmacy).

 

Goh Theng Kiat
Chief Customer Officer
Prudential Singapore
 
Goh Theng Kiat is Chief Customer Officer at Prudential Singapore. In his role, Theng Kiat champions customer-centricity across the organisation and is responsible for the delivery of a differentiated proposition and experience to our customers in both the retail and enterprise segments. He oversees Prudential Singapore’s customer strategy and initiatives, marketing and events.
 
Theng Kiat brings with him more than 26 years of marketing and business management experience across different industries, from FMCG to financial services.
 
Prior to joining Prudential Singapore in August 2018, he was Chief Marketing Officer at the consumer arm of OCBC Bank Singapore, where he helped build its brand, product, customer segments and digital marketing practice. He has also held a number of regional and global responsibilities in marketing and innovation.
 
Theng Kiat is Singaporean and holds a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Singapore.

POST EVENT

On May 30, the European Chamber of Commerce, Singapore (EuroCham) held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2023 at The Fullerton Hotel. 

We want to thank our Guest of Honour,  Dr Vivian Balakrishnan, Minister for Foreign Affairs, and H. E. Iwona Piórko, EU Ambassador to Singapore, for gracing this event. 

As the former Board dissolved after two years of their contributions to the chamber, EuroCham members were required to elect new corporate board members and the President for the term 2023-2025. Mr Jens Rübbert, Vice-President and Board Member representing the Singaporean-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce, was unanimously voted in as President.

EuroCham Singapore thanks Mr Federico Donato and the outgoing Board members for their valuable contributions to the organisation during their time at EuroCham. The Chamber looks forward to welcoming Jens’ leadership over the course of the next term.
