18th ASEAN & Asia Forum – Power, Rules and Competitiveness amidst Turmoil and Transformation

August 3 @ 9:00 am

Synopsis

The international rules-based order is becoming increasingly fragmented, with geopolitical tensions and major power competition reshaping the global economy. Most recently, the war in the Middle East and the resulting energy crisis have added a new layer of uncertainty for governments and businesses alike.

As ASEAN and the broader Asian region navigate mounting strategic and economic pressures, sustaining competitiveness will require greater resilience, strategic agency, and a stable, rules-based environment that supports business confidence.

The 18th ASEAN & Asia Forum (AAF), organised by the Singapore Institute of International Affairs, will bring together regional policymakers and business leaders to discuss how ASEAN & Asia can strengthen their competitiveness, preserve strategic agency, and build resilience amidst an increasingly uncertain global landscape. The European Chambers of Commerce is proud to be a supporting organisation of the 18th AAF.
