MOBILITY & TRANSPORT OVERVIEW
Transport is undergoing a major transformation as governments and businesses rethink how people and goods move across land, air and sea. Connectivity, sustainability and digitalisation are now shaping the future of mobility, logistics, aviation, maritime and infrastructure.
As a regional and global transport hub, Singapore plays a critical role in connecting Europe with Southeast Asia and the wider Asia-Pacific region. Its continued competitiveness will depend on strong passenger and cargo flows, resilient supply chains, efficient infrastructure, low-carbon transport solutions and smarter, more integrated digital systems.
The Mobility & Transport Committee will serve as EuroCham’s platform to advance a more seamless, resilient and future-ready transport ecosystem across land, air and sea. The committee will bring together European companies in aviation, maritime, logistics, automotive, infrastructure and technology to identify shared challenges, develop practical recommendations, and strengthen dialogue with Singapore’s transport-related policymakers and agencies.
MOBILITY & TRANSPORT MISSION
To advance a connected, sustainable and digitally enabled transport ecosystem that supports efficient movement of people and goods across land, air and sea between Europe and Asia. The Committee’s mission is then to promote a Seamless Transport ecosystem; moving people and goods more efficiently, sustainably and digitally.
OBJECTIVES
- Serve as EuroCham’s platform for structured dialogue between European transport businesses, Singapore authorities, EU institutions and relevant stakeholders.
- Support Singapore’s role as a global hub for logistics, aviation, maritime and passenger connectivity.
- Advance practical pathways for decarbonisation and digitalisation across transport and logistics sectors.
- Translate industry challenges into actionable recommendations on infrastructure, regulation, technology adoption and mobility innovation.
