Singapore is a leading healthcare and biomedical hub in Asia, supported by strong public institutions, advanced infrastructure and a growing focus on innovation and life sciences. European healthcare companies contribute across pharmaceuticals, medical technology, diagnostics, digital health, insurance, research, manufacturing and patient care.
At the same time, the healthcare system faces long-term structural pressures, including an ageing population, rising chronic disease burden, workforce constraints and increasing demand for preventive and sustainable care models. These challenges are shaping a strong need for innovation, efficiency and cross-sector collaboration.

To connect European healthcare and life sciences companies with Singapore’s healthcare ecosystem to support innovation, system sustainability, patient access, preventive care and future-ready models of healthcare delivery.
COMMITTEE OBJECTIVES
EuroCham Singapore Healthcare & Life Sciences Committee objectives are to represent the perspectives of European healthcare and life sciences companies operating in Singapore; facilitate structured dialogue with stakeholders, including government agencies, healthcare institutions, regulators, NGOs, academia, and insurers among others; support public-private collaboration on healthcare innovation, system sustainability, patient access, preventive care and long-term resilience; and provide industry input into EuroCham policy discussions, advocacy positions, reports and stakeholder engagement.
