Financial Services & FinTech
Strengthening Singapore-Europe cooperation in financial services.
FINANCIAL SERVICES & FINTECH COMMITTEE OVERVIEW
Singapore remains a leading financial centre in Asia, supported by strong regulatory institutions and a clear ambition to remain a competitive, innovation-led and trusted global financial hub. The Monetary Authority of Singapore’s Financial Services Industry Transformation Map 2025 targets continued sector growth of around 4% to 5% annually and sustained job creation, reinforcing this long-term trajectory.
European banks, insurers, asset managers, fintech companies and professional services firms play an important role in Singapore’s financial ecosystem, with the city-state serving as a key regional base for operations, investment flows and regulatory engagement. Key areas of shared focus include digital finance, payments, stablecoins, sustainable finance, talent development and regulatory competitiveness.
